What a difference a year makes. Last year, a storm moved into Sacramento in early October and dropped almost an inch of rain on the city in a day. A year later, it’s so hot that we shattered the September record for the most days of 90-degree or over temperatures. Yesterday it was 100 degrees and today’s temperature is expected to reach 99 degrees. With all the heat and no rain in sight, people are starting to mention the “D” word.
